- Follow JTI’s global policies and procedures portfolio, outline the principles and guidelines within JTI operating framework, perform an independent review control check over business processes
- Act as a key liaison with an international colleagues to support a periodic J-SOX management walk-throughs and self-assessment tests (prepare the plan of campaigns, communication, ensure effective follow ups and provide an adequate trainings when necessary
- Contribute to risk reassessment and (re) design of internal controls, as well as follow up on control deficiency remediation with process owners from various departments (including root cause analysis, advice on any remediation plan)
- Administrate an operational controls set, ensure periodic reviews of the processes covered by such controls (its proper proof of performance, evidence), highlighting areas for improvement
- Support entity with the preparation for an internal or an external audit in the area of JSOX controls testing for the entity
- Keep GRC system updated (an appropriate control owner, delegate, back-up assignment) as well as authorization to controls evidence on the local shared drives or SharePoints
- Participate in the other assigned projects
- You are eager and quick to pick up new skills and techniques, learn or develop your knowledge in Internal Controls area
- You pay attention to detail and feel comfortable offering solutions in ambiguous situations
- You are reliable with risk awareness mindset, proactive and well organized
- You are skilled in giving out a feedback as well as actively practicing the art of knowledge management within the business
- You possess strong communication skills in both Polish & English (B2/C1), especially diligence in your communication and follow-ups
- You love working with a purpose, have a natural curiosity, and strive for self-development
- You prefer to work in an international, collaborative environment with a positive "can do" attitude
- Broad based business experience in auditing, internal controls, accounting, security administration and/or information systems, outsourcing services (e.g. risk management, quality management)
- Knowledge of internal controls (SOX, COSO etc.) and accounting rules and Segregation of Duties (SOD) rules
- Experience with SAP GRC and risk assessment tools, SharePoints
