Internal Auditor

For our Client, a well-known company with branches all around the world and vastly developing business based in new technologies, life science, and environmental area, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Internal Auditor.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and perform regular internal audit controls in European entities to review if the processes are performed according to the internal control rules and SOX
- Conduct independent reviews of end to end processes to evaluate internal controls within the organization and identify adequate controls needs
- Complete operational and financial audits with other internal auditor team members
- Collect internal control findings, prepare recommendations and present them to the process owners
- Participate in development of supporting and monitoring tools used to document and compile the results of control testing performed
- Cooperating with finance teams in identifying business needs for implementing internal controls
- Drive implementation of standardized global processes and procedures
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in internal audit or direct accounting
- University degree (best if from Business, Finance, or Accounting)
- Fluent English language skills (international meetings in English)
- Work experience in an international organization or shared service center organization
- Self-organized and disciplined, mature and pro-active person with a high level of integrity
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of interdependencies in finance processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and previous experience on ERP systems
