InHouse Translator with French

Basic requirements:
- Fluent English and French;
- Experience in marketing translations;
- Experience in using CAT tools (knowledge of Translation Workspace or memoQ would be an
- advantage);
- Higher education in linguistics or minimum 5 years’ experience in translation.
Responsibilities:
- Translating from English into French;
- Choosing proper terminology;
- Qualifying linguist errors and evaluating work of subcontractors;
- Checking translations in terms of content and style;
- Checking compliance of translated texts with the reference materials;
- Correcting linguistic errors and implementing changes in terminology required by quality control;
- Creating and updating glossaries;
- Analyzing customer complaints and cooperating with the clients’ editors in order to solve them;
- Timely implementation of projects;
- Reporting errors noted in the assigned materials and instructions;
- Performing other activities necessary for the proper realization of projects in accordance with the instructions from the manager.
