We are currently looking for an Industrial Quality Engineer - to our manufacturing plant Philips Lighting Poland Sp. z o. o. located in Piła. You will join the Quality Laboratory & Product Compliance team.
Your responsibilities:
- Structural continuous improvement drive to cost of non-quality (CoNsQ) & cost of quality (CoQ) optimisation and product quality assurance,
- Managing photometrical measurements, assure their accuracy and reliability using MSA,
- Optimizing cost of equipment calibration based on current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and metrology standards,
- Managing technical and process documentation,
- Planning, realization and reporting of all obligatory tests in order to confirm the product compliance with relevant IEC/national standards,
- Response to the customer’s requests regarding relevant test report or documentation,
- Managing input from market and process engineers to improve organizational effectiveness and customer satisfaction,
- Internal Quality audits, ISO 17025 experience an advantage,
- Cooperation with technical laboratories and national institutes (internal and external) in scope of methods and tools optimisation,
- Designing new databases for Laboratory needs and managing them,
- Maintenance and minor repair of controlling and measuring instruments.
We are looking for:
- Technical Academic/University degree or Equivalent,
- Ability to communicate in English (both orally and in writing)
- Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance or R&D processes - an advantage,
- Experience in Quality Assurance methods and tools (MSA, FMEA, DfSS, Green Belt level),
- Experience in test planning, report writing and methodology,
- Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment,
- Understanding of basic statistics,
- Healthcare industry related experience – an advantage.
