For our Client, international company (Shared Service Centre) located in Łódź, we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of Import/Export Specialist.

The ideal Candidate will be responsible for reducing exposure to Import and Export violation for the company which includes communication with internal and external legal departments and government agencies such as USDA, APHIS, FDA and Customs, management of the Harmonized Tariff Classifications and reading and interpreting international trade treaties, trade documentation and law.

The successful Candidate has a university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Business, International Trade or a related field degree, at least four years of experiences in the international import/export trade industry to include majority of aspects of US importing and exporting, four years of experience in food industry and at least two years project management experience. Also four years of experience in trade databases and ERP systems is required. Experience in export/import regulations and U.S. Customs and compliance are necessary. Knowledge of online government databases and fluent English and French are needed.
