Hyperion Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Assessing new or modified requirements with respect to technical feasibility
- Assessing the complexity and the impact on a current/planned system
- Exploring solution alternatives and verifiy their feasibility
- Defining required technical resources, software architecture, user interface and database system.
- Creating or selecting the most suitable methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development.
- Creating models for data, functions and/or objects
- Implementing software
- Defining and agreeing service levels for application maintenance
- Analysis of problems, providing third level support, definition and implementation of the escalation procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent work experience
- Good, practical knowledge of the chosen Reporting tool (e.g. Hyperion Interactive Reporting), Javascript and PL/SQL
- Ability to work in (global) teams
- Knowledge of Hyperion Interactive Reporting will be a significant asset due to the fact that this skill is required for major part of development/support activities
- Good understanding of data warehouse concept and technologies (especially Oracle solutions)
- Fluent English skills
