For our Polish office in Wroclaw we are searching for a Human Resources Supervisor. The department consists of 4 full-time employees including the HR Supervisor. Your role in the office will be a managing one, where you will give advice, streamline processes and display foresight regarding HR matters. For you to succeed in this role you have to be a flexible, hands-on person with strong communicating skills in English. You will report directly to the Vice President Human Resources of ACN Europe in Amsterdam with a dotted line to local managers.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with management teams in Wroclaw, and guide / advise them on the application of HR processes in order to improve performance.
- Provide support and advice to managers on employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, performance management, occupational health, succession planning and training and development.
- Ensure that risks are appropriately managed either personally or by referral to the VP Human Resources
- Outline HR strategies together with management on development and training needs in the company
- Manage the recruitment strategy and process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offers as well as support and advice
- Responsible for monthly payroll and reporting (headcount reporting and other reports when required) as well as providing input for the Polish HR budget
- Work with management and other key employees to determine the training needs of the business.
- Create training programs using advanced training methodologies that include necessary and appropriate training, training resources and tools, skill validations, etc
- Update training/development materials, resources and trainee tools on a continuous basis
- Maintain compliance with applicable employment legislation.
- Coordinate and delegate the appropriate above tasks and other Human Resources tasks with the HR Assistant, the HR Coordinator and the Junior HR Business Partner to ensure all HR services are provided to the business.
- Identify opportunities and make suggestions for improving the effectiveness of the HR team.
- Work closely with the HR department in Amsterdam on European and Global HR requirements.
- Realization of local and EU HR goals and objectives
- Initiate HR initiatives
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager or senior management in the business.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a (senior) HR Specialist. / Manager position.
- Experience in reporting externally and abroad is preferred.
- High level of English, writing and speaking.
- Good IT skills (MS Office)
- High level of knowledge of Polish legislation
- Ability to advise / communicate at Management levels
- A proven track record in operational HR management
- Knowledgeable about recruitment processes.
- Enthusiasm for a fast paced and often changing work environment
- Knowledge of payroll procedures.
- Experience in working for a multinational company is a plus
