Job Summary

To provide a high quality, commercial Human Resource Service to the Distribution Centre which supports the TK Maxx culture and values

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong line manager relationships and work cross functionally to deliver common business objectives.
  • Support and coach line managers to effectively manage associate relations.
  • Create, develop and promote associate involvement and participation initiatives.
  • Develop and support the HR team ethos.
  • Develop working relationships with HR colleagues within other PCs.
  • Manage and develop the Distribution Centre HR and Training team.
  • Managing Trade Union partnerships in conjunction with PC Manager.
  • Partner with line managers to define, build and evolve a robust Distribution Centre infrastructure aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Develop resourcing strategies to achieve fast-paced and dynamic growth requirements against the associate requirements production plan.
  • Assist with the provision of a commercially focused, legally compliant generalist HR service.
  • Support the execution of learning and development priorities to develop internal talent and realise the potential of key associates.
  • Streamline and improve operational HR efficiency to achieve consistently high standards of support and decision-making.
  • Provide a commercially focused legally compliant generalist HR service.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Ideally CIPD qualified with HR experience
  • Previous distribution experience desirable
  • PC Literate
  • People Management experience
  • Results driven
  • Strong communication with good interpersonal skills and a team builder/player
  • Understanding of commercial context
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Pro-active approach
