Reporting in to the Regional HR Consultant based in Berlin this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop the career as a competent business partner. The purpose of this role is to provide operational HR expertise to the Warsaw office (130 staff) including the support to Leadership Team on all HR matters in the following areas: recruitment and selection, employee relations, staff mobility, performance management, employee development and succession planning and HR Operations:
- in partnership with the Resourcing team, work with managers to ensure that recruitment activity is aligned with business strategy
- provide support in assessment interviewing and selection
- work in partnership with management teams to identify high potential employees
- implement the performance management framework through line managers via company system and ensure completion within prescribed timeframes
- ensure all promotions and change of roles are managed within the policy framework
- deliver training sessions to line management / employees on key HR areas as required
- lead on / provide advice to managers on disciplinary matters, grievance & dismissal cases, including redundancy
- provide case management support for maternity, paternity, long term sick, redundancy, relocation, secondment matters, absence management issues
- production of reports and statistics ahead of Monthly Management Meetings and other purposes
- liaison with external payroll consultant
- ‘from hire to retire’ HR admin in line with local legislation & corporate policies
- qualified HR practitioner – we would expect the suitable candidate to have approx. 4 years’ experience
- good understanding of Polish employment legislation
- very good English skills, German would be an advantage
- previous experience of working for an international company
- experience of providing HR services to a senior leadership team
