Global Wind Service (GWS) is an international company providing manpower and expertise for installation and service of wind turbines onshore and offshore. Professional and skilled manpower is the heart of our business and the key to deliver on our customers expectations. The Polish business unit holds approximately 160 employees including technicians and office staff.
The headquarter is located in Denmark, and GWS is managed in Scandinavian style: Informal and little hierarchy. This is reflected by high requirements for the candidate to be able to work under limited supervision, to share knowledge, cooperate and take responsibility.
HR Assistant
Location: Szczecin
Job description
- HR-administration for Danish HQ as well as Polish business unit.
- Prepare statistics and reports related to HR.
- Maintain inventory of worktime and minimum wage rules.
- Support recruitment processes (Technicians and Office Staff).
- Contact with public institutions (ZUS, PUP, etc).
- Execution of Leadership & Management Training.
- Regular contact with Technicians, providing them with needed support.
- Development of work environment.
- Support the implementation of new HR system.
- Ad-hoc responsibilities related to HR; support entire department.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of work experience in Human Resource area.
- A bachelor’s degree in either HR, psychology or related discipline will be an asset.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- Cooperative, communicative, open-minded and flexible – also with respect for other people and other cultures.
- Systematic and persistent self-starter able to work under limited supervision.
- Analytical with a flair for providing easy-to-understand versions of complicated HR-related regulations (e.g. working time rules)
- Knowledge of IT tools (Microsoft Office).
- Work experience in an international company will be an asset.
