Job Description
IVONA Software (an Amazon Company) researches, develops and delivers cutting edge multi-language Text to Speech technology. We are a team of creative people who successfully combine passion and ambition in creating one of the best speech synthesizers in the world. We are constantly expanding our market reach and our voice and language portfolio.
We are currently looking for a highly organized, efficient, creative and forward-thinking HR Intern to join our HR department at IVONA headquarters in Gdynia, Poland.
Working on this position on local level you will be involved in all ongoing HR processes. The biggest focus will be on HR administration area. You will have a chance to learn and execute the following tasks:
- Learn how to administer staff intake, departure and internal mobility to ensure full adherence to global HR processes and in accordance with local regulations;
- Help to maintain the confidentiality and completeness of employee personnel records and files in accordance with legal requirements and best practice;
- Ensure data integrity of PeopleSoft by following company-wide outlined procedures;
- Help to prepare payroll files for processing by payroll team;
- Support the administration of company benefits programs;
- Keep aware of developments in employment legislation, taxation and best practice;
- Support the development of internal HR policies adjusting them to the local and global requirements;
- Learn how to design reports to key stakeholders summarizing the data and key trends;
- Ad hoc international project involvement;
- Support the Recruiting team by arranging phone and in-house interviews;
Qualifications
- Recently graduated with a Degree in Human Resources.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accuracy, and a very strong customer focus;
- Have strong communication skills;
- Have excellent spoken and written English skills;
- Be able to prioritize workload, multi-task and manage conflicting priorities of daily tasks;
- Have a hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable;
- Have complete integrity and be respectful of the confidential nature of the role;
- Have a high level of attention to detail.;
- Be a proficient user of Excel;
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of employment law and HR / Payroll practices would be advantageous
- Experience in an administrative role, within an environment committed to customer service and continual process improvement
