Helpdesk Specialist (1st & 2nd Line Support)

Responsibilities:
- You will work under the supervision of IT Manager
- Be the first point of contact and provide support to all staff across all offices for IT queries to ensure a smooth running of our systems and assisting the IT Manager and System Administrator in the overall running of the IT systems
- Basic troubleshooting of IT problems including phones, laptops, mobile devices, conferencing equipment and printers
- Daily monitoring of the IT helpdesk dashboard
- Setup of new staff accounts on IT systems, prepare new starters desks and devices
- Provide IT Inductions and training for new starters
- Daily monitoring and maintenance of all IT devices used by staff
- Take ownership of support issues and seek closure ensuring procedures are followed, with the escalation of more complex queries where necessary
- Assist in the installation, configuration and deployment of new and existing hardware and software
- Updating the IT Assets record and other documentation
- Support the IT team with systematic improvements and other ad-hoc duties when required
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer service / customer-facing role, or with assisting colleagues/users
- Experience of IT Troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Microsoft infrastructure such as Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Desktop Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows 10)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (2016 - 2019) products including outlook email and calendar
- Experience with basic network infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, Switches and Firewall)
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Reliable and understands the importance of meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse internal and external individuals
Additional advantages:

- Knowledgeable in the use and administration of Microsoft SharePoint
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically Hyper-V
- Experience with VOIP and videoconferencing systems
- Experience with Server Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows 2016)
