To drive growth plans in Europe forward, our client is looking for an experienced Head of Product Management for implementation and execution of growth plans in the European region. The team-office is based in Poznan and this role is supporting also other European countries and cooperates and coordinates activities with headquarters in Shanghai.

Job description

  • Responsibility for leading of Product Management Department in Europe.
  • Responsibility for product strategy and product positioning of the company in Europe.
  • Cooperation with R&D center in China, local Product Managers and Country Managers in order to support business goals in Europe.
  • Conduct pricing and profitability analyses to ensure that key product line goals are being met.
  • Overall responsibility for the process of launching new products from initial idea to full scale launch including certificates for new products from China HQ to Europe.
  • Driving Product line business performance and growth including constructive comments on its further development, a provision of the information about company's products.
  • Determine market, industry and competitive trends.
  • Analyse sales /pipeline trends to aid product development and other product line initiatives.
  • Analyse and participate in business reviews and monthly reports.
  • Set up with the Logistics Department on placing orders in China and on its own production facilities.
  • Organization of company´s products seminars and training for both internal and external clients.
  • Preparation, updating and managing of catalogues, participation on the preparation of news for technical bulletins, technical information / announcements for the website, technical introduction to video broadcasting over the Internet.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will possess a strong business acumen with knowledge of product marketing and portfolio management in electrotechnical field (must), will have strong customer oriented skills and even stronger desire to get results to maximize growth, profitability and return on investment for the business.
  • University electrotechnical or energetical field degree is required.
  • Minimum 8 years work experience with proven track record of success with demonstrable results in electrotechnical business + min 3 year of leading a team.
  • Regional experience with product management, launching of new products in electrotechnical (LV products) industry is desirable.
  • Strong leader with ability to convince people.
  • Structured, analytical, extrovert, with good social, communication and implementation skills.
  • High-energy, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word).
  • Fluency in English.
