Group Legal Counsel
Location: Świebodzin
Job description
Purpose of Position
Carrying out all legal affairs within the SECO/WARWICK group in cooperation with the group management team. Coordinating and managing performance of external legal advisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing and ensuring the legal adherence of all key contracts.
- Creating contract templates for all regular company activities.
- Reviewing and approving of contracts on demand.
- Creating and coordinating the supervisory board documentation.
- Coordinating and managing performance of external advisors (especially for international affairs).
- Overseeing legal compliance of corporate governance matters.
Requirements
Education / Experience
- University degree in law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in running legal issues of an enterprise (as legal counselor or an adviser).
- Demonstrated capacity to manage the work of a team of professionals and to provide leadership to them in thinking about and dealing with the full range of relevant legal issues.
Skills Required
- Communication skills to effectively understand and empathize with employees in stressful situations.
- Ability to successfully supervise and resolve complex issues, flexible and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Relationship builder and communicator capable of partnering with senior executives and external legal advisors.
- Significant experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and proposals.
- Strong negotiation skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with people of different nationalities and cultures.
