The Information Security Analyst role is key to the front line of the information security team, leading day-to-day activities such as identifying/mitigating threats, analysing security events, and re-enforcing the culture and practice of information security within Catalis. This role has both proactive and reactive responsibilities; in daily work there will be a balance between these types of task.
We are currently looking for:
- Managing a portfolio of tasks as part of the delivery of the ongoing global Information Security program
- Perform security analysis and remediation of security incidents using SIEM technologies and other security technologies
- Performing and managing monthly vulnerability scans and remediation activities
- Contribute to development and revision of content for the information security awareness programs, training materials
- Assist in communicating alerts, information messages and carrying out awareness campaigns for information security
- Contribute to the definition and development of operational metrics and produce regular management information reports in relation to activities carried out by the Global Information Security team
- Participate in cross-functional assignments during implementation of information security program elements for business units and/or functions
- Support responses to internal and external client questions and queries in relation to opportunities across the global organization
- Troubleshoot and perform basic day to day management of security devices including firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxies and cloud security solutions
- Develop and document operational procedures in relation to services delivered by the Global Information Security team
- Carry out research on current industry trends, communicating updates and collating proposals for relevant adjustments to Information Security Program and annual plans
- Administer Information Security team sites
- Engaging with and managing activities of third-party specialist service providers where necessary to support information security compliance related activities, including carrying out of special reviews, assessments and investigations
- Management of Global Information Security policies, standards, procedures and guidance documents including necessary revisions, updates and amendments
- 5 years IT and security experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Passion for security from both the technical and compliance point of view
- It would be a strong advantage if the Candidate has any of the following: CEH, CCNA, or other security industry related certification
- Experience with incident response
- Ability to analyse system logs, events and controlling alerts
- Ability to communicate end-to-end technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to people outside with different background.
- Good English skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to write with purpose, clarity and accuracy
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management in a global environment
