We are looking for a software engineer to join our team in Gdansk, Poland. The team designs, implements, and maintains graphics drivers for Intel integrated chips and low power devices (tablets, phones, IVE).
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Linux/Android developer to join Linux graphics software team. In this role you will develop and commercialize Linux/Android software on Intel devices. You have the opportunity to work with international team of hardware, system and software engineers as well as open source projects and mailing list to develop and integrate modern graphics technology on Linux/Android platform powered by Intel chips.
He/She will be participating in all stages of software development life-cycle, starting from requirements definition; through research and design to implementation, validation, and post-release support activities.
This is an exciting position on an exciting product team and will allow the successful candidate to apply their extensive experience of improving performance graphics driver software into Linux/Android devices and collaborate across number of Intel's organization and geo-sites.
Qualifications
You should possess a MSc degree, preferably in Computer Science. Able to translate requirements into detailed architecture and high level design specifications.
Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in real time OSes, QNX
- Expertise in C/C++ and a history of successful Software Architecture & Development
- Experience in Linux Development is mandatory
- Experience in Android based development and knowledge of Android aosp, Bionic, Dalvik is a strong plus
- Experience in Linux Device Driver Development is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Linux/Android OpenGLES SW stack is also beneficial (ES1.1, ES2.0, ES3.0, GPU usage)
- Experience with mobile handset development is preferred
