Grain Trader
Responsibilities:
- Identifying company's commercial activity opportunities in the region (Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Baltics countries)
- Assessing Supply and Demand in the area of resposibility
- Establishing business relationships with key counterparts, specifically traders and end-users of agricultural commodities materials located in the region
- Establishing business relations with port terminals in Poland, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria
- Getting to know industrial facilities and production processes, logistic flows, and silo networks; also identifying main bottlenecks
- Preparing purchase/sales contracts, understanding of INCOTERMS and structure of the agreements and addendums
- Leading domestic and export contract execution process
- Working on document preparations for the smooth execution flow
- Preparing regular market reports
Requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor's degree preferably in an Agricultural, Economics, or Business discipline
- Strong interest in Agri-commodity trading business
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong drive for success and high self-motivation, results-oriented personality and passion for continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of hedging tools
- Understanding client/supplier profiles and their main requirements
- Understanding global flows of commodity trading and primary agricultural products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, additional languages would be beneficial
