The Graduate Treasury Implementation Consultants in the Client Facing team deliver training
and consultancy during the implementation projects of our treasury software solutions,
within (although not limited to) the area of Treasury and Risk Management.
Whilst our technical resources will supply and install the core software that we are delivering
to the client, it typically takes several weeks or months of configuration work to set it up for
the specific needs of each individual customer. This is where the role of our Consultants fits in
- you will discuss to understand the detail of the daily operation of the client's business,
demonstrate the functionality that exists within the software, and endeavour to align those
two components so that the client gains maximum benefit from the solution.
As such, our Consultants are expected to develop a sound understanding of the fundamental
modules within the AvantGard Treasury Management product.
The role offers the opportunity for travel within the UK and Europe and on average our
experienced Consultants travel approximately 60% of every 'typical' week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on specific tasks within a dedicated project team, which will have responsibility to meet Title, deliverables in domains or such as Treasury workflows, Cash Management, Risk Department Group Management and Accounting Standards
- Undertake a detailed analysis of the functional & operational requirements of any interfaces with non-FIS applications e.g. FX All, 360T, Reuters (provide market rate data), SAP and Bloomberg
- Communicate analysis work with the core and custom development teams so that the functional & operational requirements can be translated into a technical requirements specification, allowing an accurate estimate of time and cost to deliver
- Undertake testing of the preliminary solution delivery, generating management reports with SQL and Crystal Reporting tools, providing feedback to the developers to allow iterative enhancements as required
- Delivery of the solution to the client environment - training and testing with the client before seeking formal sign-off that the delivery meets all requirements that have been detailed with the specification documents and the client's overall objectives
