Our production plant in Poznań is the most modern production center in Poland, which produces SIGNIA and AUDIO SERVICE hearing aids, while in Komorniki our European Distribution Center is responsible for the distribution of cameras and additional products on the European market.
We are now recruiting for a talented Global Senior Transportation Manager to work on all transportation and trade compliance related assignments in WS Audiology (WSA) together with talented global team members and colleagues.
The Global Senior Transportation Manager reports directly to Director, Global Logistics. Working with internal stakeholders in operations, sales and with suppliers, it is the main mission of the Global Senior Transportation manager to improve service levels, while optimizing and reducing the cost base for all transportation execution globally. Moreover, guidance in trade compliance and import/export subjects is also a key area to work with, to successfully fulfil this role.
- Ensure alignment and linkage to the overall operations strategy of WSA Global Operations.
- Assist in developing strategies, drive solutions in Logistics/Distribution structure to ensure transportation efficiencies and costs effectiveness.
- Drive/participate in projects that focus on driving efficiencies and/or costs optimization in area of Logistics and transport activities.
- Best practice sharing on a global scale to ensure optimized WSA Logistics/Distribution operations.
- Responsible for Logistics budgeting and establish KPIs and collates metrics with freight forwarders for monthly performance reporting.
- Transportation analysis' with mitigating actions on Global transportation lanes exceeding budget
- Performing import/export operational activities and communicate directly with site's customs broker / freight forwarders to resolve day-to-day issues that may result in delays.
- Conduct training and be focal contact on Global matters concerning import and export compliance requirements.
- Conduct periodic post entry audit of sampled transactions to verify the accuracy of trade compliance elements lodged with local customs authorities and to identify compliance risks.
- Act as primary point of contact with Customs and Affiliates to address any requests for audits and inspections.
- Assist the organization with applications for special trade programs, supply chain security programs, import/export licenses and customs schemes.
- Focal point on assigning country tariff classifications, export control classification numbers, customs valuation and country of origin determination.
- Interact with cross functional teams to help ensure compliance, facilitate customs clearance flow and increase awareness of key strategic developments in Global Trade Compliance area.

- Minimum of 5 years of Transportation/logistics management experience in a multinational company
