Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of financial processes, accounting knowledge and related systems to effectively perform responsibilities
- Manage a team of junior accountants (supervision of day-to-day invoice processing and query handling and month-end-activities such as analytical review of cost accounts, supplier statement reconciliation, journals preparation, actual vs forecast comparisons)
- Act as subject matter expert for team members for finance and accounting
- Identify, document, and review opportunities for team improvement in procedures & processes to gain cost-effectiveness and efficiency; execute implementation of improvements. Perform analysis of quality audits
- Manage the performance of the team and act as the team’s career counselor
- Build and maintain strong business relationship with a client
- Ensure effective communication to address all issues and lead resolution actions
- Collaborate effectively with other teams, delivery lead and client teams
- Graduate with 2-5 years of working experience
- Fluent English
- Very good Portuguese (at least B2 level)
- Spanish nice to have
- Team leadership experience will be an advantage
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- High accuracy and focus on details
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Pro-active business approach, aimed to resolve business issues
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility
- Educational background in finance, accounting or economy is an advantage
- 2nd shift work (from 13 to 21)
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
