GL accountant with German or French

For our client in Warsaw, who is developing internal structures, we are looking for a candidate with experience in GL department with German/French and English languages.

- reviewing, controlling relevant balance sheet account reconciliations
- following-up on open G/ L balances and inquiries on relevant accounts
- ensuring alignment of entries with accounting principles
- ensuring completeness of necessary accounting documentation
- completing periodic RTR workpapers and act upon relevant items
- performing value and clearing validation
- identifying need for reposting - prepare relevant journal entries
- performing period close activities
- ensuring relevant updates of local documentation / procedures
- assisting with the tasks prior and during audit
- providing support to financial statements preparation
- performing asset management accounting
what we expect
- good understanding of financial accounting and profound knowledge of balance sheet and P&L
- at least 1 year experience in similar position in SSC/ BPO
- very good level of English and German/French at aleast B2 level
- good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel
- ability and willingness to share your knowledge with other colleagues in the team
- hands on experience in driving continuous improvement and relevant accounting qualifications come as an additional asset for consideration
