The role exists to support the GBS Functional Development Lead in defining and governing a consistent functional onboarding and capability building process strategy, framework, and policies in assigned GBS center.
The incumbent will report directly to the GBS Functional Training Lead and will participate in developing and maintaining functional training and functional onboarding programs. Responsibilities include assisting GBS functional teams in analyzing/developing and/or updating functional training requirements to include position-based training curriculum, maintaining training records for employees, revising/writing standard operating training procedures and other types of documents that define functional training and functional onboarding processes, coordinate/support/conduct training. The incumbent will collaborate with GBS functional teams and Operational Excellence to evaluate functional training needs and develop or enhance current procedures.

Functional Training system
- Participate in creation and implementation of Functional Training system across the GBSs' in partnership with Operational Excellence function and other functional teams.
- Supports the GBS Functional Training Lead in establishing functional training schedules with rationally planned participation of employees to ensure that required training programs are delivered in right time to right people.
- Collaborate with GBS functional teams and/or Operational Excellence to review functional training status and determine effectiveness of training.
- Handle the scheduling of the various functional training sessions, generation and distribution of handouts, assessments, and miscellaneous documentation.
Functional Onboarding & Learning Needs Analysis
- Assist the GBS Functional Training Lead in defining, developing and deploying a harmonized functional onboarding program to ensure consistency across GBS organization.
- Collaborate with GBS functional teams and/or Operational Excellence to evaluate functional training needs and develop or enhance current procedures
- Create and track functional training metrics/reports.
- Liaise with potential providers for ad-hoc team learning and development solutions and events.
Training Delivery
- Collaborate in conducting annual or periodic trainings.
- Govern the GBS functional/technical Learning portfolio and delivery channels on site to meet development needs.
- Support the GBS Functional Training Lead to establish an evaluation mechanism to ensure that all training has provided a benefit back to the business, expertise or more effective ways of working.
- Participate in the validation and implementation of digital functional learning/training management systems"
Knowledge management
- Assist the GBS Functional Training Lead in organizing experience exchanging, best practices sharing and lessons transferring.
- Facilitate social learning. Support the development of a knowledge management infrastructure. Support the development and implementation of a standardized and harmonized company suggestion scheme.
Reporting
- Issue periodic functional training status reports and share/interact with Operational Excellence and GBS functional teams to address functional training related issues/challenges
- Create and track functional training metrics/reports.
- Other Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.
- Bachelor's Degree, special process and/or Lean management, education, training, or any other related field is strongly preferred
- 2-3+ years of experience leading, creating and implementing functional/technical capability building or Operational Excellence programs. Experience in program development, training delivery, experience implementing both e-learning and blended learning solutions. Experience in working with Microsoft software applications for development of training tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with creating training materials in PowerPoint or other presentation formats
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams in identifying training requirements/solutions
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Fluent in English
