Game Services Delivery Manager
Warsaw
We are looking for a Game Services Delivery Manager to take responsibility of Game Services delivery, including localization, testing and community management. You will act as an Operational Manager for our Localization & Test Centre of Excellence that manages our Clients localization and testing needs to avoid delays, speed time-to-market, and reduce costs. This unique opportunity provides a chance to cooperate with leading game publishers - major studios and independent developers, as well as to lead a great team of industry’s best talents.
The Role:
- Supervising and managing Game Services Department that incorporates PM, localization, testing, digital content and social media functions.
- Accountability for Department results.
- Owning Department budgeting and planning.
- Supporting Sales organization with growing and developing business.
- Owning customer relations on leadership level.
- Identify, investigate, and propose solutions to help improve game services delivery.
- Provide expert feedback to delivery teams to improve processes and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English.
- University degree in Management, Business or Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
- At least 5 years of management work experience preferable within Games Business.
- Familiarity with the game development cycle and product lifecycle.
- Good understanding of games localization, testing and digital content production.
- Demonstrated success in leadership role.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale, commercial programs.
- Multiple shipped games, including AAA console, PC or mobile titles.
- Passion for and good knowledge of games and digital / online entertainment.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills, great attention to detail, critical thinker, solid communicator.
- Able to track multiple tasks simultaneously and report to stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and inspire team members.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methods, tools and standards.
- Familiarity with localization methods, tools and standards.
- Experience working in an Agile and Test Driven Development environment.
- ISTQB certificate (Software Development, Testing) or equivalent.
