On behalf of our client, a leading asset management and securities services company which is developing its financial center in Ireland, we are looking for a Fund Accountant.
As a Fund Accountant you will be responsible for evaluates and reconciles funds including mutual, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation.
Your role will involve providing fund administration and accounting services and calculation of net asset values across all funds. You will make sure the NAVs / distribution rates of all funds are calculated accurately, reviewing and signing-off on all NAVs and dividend rates and payments of fund expenses. You will act as the primary dedicated contact point for clients and will ensure that their requests are addressed immediately within an agreed timetable.
A successful candidate should have at least 3 years work experience in the funds or similar industry, should speak English fluently and possess a degree in a finance related discipline. The candidate should communicate effectively and have previous experience in planning own workload. Self – motivation and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team is also required. Willingness to relocate to Ireland is a must.
