As a Front-End Developer you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for helping to architect and develop an interface to display, manage and localize large amounts of e-commerce listings. You will be working as part of an Agile environment, supported by the Scrum methodology.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of each application, including: collecting requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and performance tuning.
- Help with architecture-level design decisions during various phases of a project.
- Ensure implementation of software best practices and processes.
- Advise product managers where technical guidance is required.
- Work with our designer and backend developers to implement and maintain the HTML, CSS, and JS front end of Webinterpret web application.
- Propose and implement changes to improve user experience.
- 2+ Years of commercial experience as a Front End Engineer
- Knows how to define architecture for a project
- Good knowledge of standards compliant front-end development and accessibility best practices
- Knowledge of AngularJS framework
- Knowledge of solutions introduced in ES6
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less
- Knowledge of task runners such as Gulp, Webpack
- Contributor to OR consumer of Open Source frameworks
- Has the ability to work closely and iteratively with UX Designers
- Good knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards
- Experience working in an Agile development environment on multiple projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pixel perfect interpretation of designs into HTML & CSS
- Knowledge of e-commerce platform (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of BackboneJS framework
