Fraud Prevention Specialist

CHI Polska S.A., the owner of coffeeheaven brand, is a part of Costa Coffee (owned by Whitbread plc).

Due to our company's intensive development we are looking for candidates to fill the position of:

reports to: Head of Controlling CHI Polska S.A.

job purpose: to provide risk assurance with regards to fraud, loss prevention and

policy compliance

key responsibilities:

risk review and data analysis:

• to produce monthly risk reports highlighting all potential fraudulent activity and report back findings to the Head of Controlling
• to review weekly the banking reports, daily cash reports and to escalate any discrepancies found for further investigation
• to investigate activity of stores' employees, via till journal review, via covert surveillance, the installation of Covert CCTV, or the review of in-house CCTV systems
• to perform compliance audits in stores including a full review of the stores cash, employment policy and stock control and report back findings and a comprehensive actions plan to head of Controlling and Head of Operations

risk assurance and action plan implementation:

• regular communication with Head of Controlling and Head of Operations to discuss business risks and agree actions, presentation of key audit issues
• to ensure all audit reports and Investigation reports are completed and forwarded on to operations for disciplinary action if required

in – house CCTV Systems:

• to ensure company's CCTV policy is in place
• to ensure data required from CCTV was collected from all stores and the data needed was stored in the database
• to review test footage sent by store managers and ensure correct angles of cameras have been set

requirements:

• university degree (with a preference for economics, mathematics)
experience in similar position will be appreciated
• very good Excel would be appreciated
• very good English, both written and verbal is a must
• ability to view large amounts of data and pick out the main risks
• disciplined and self motivated to structure weeks work to risk access various reports and react to any that show potential risk to the business; largely working on own
• strong communication skills to address and enforce any corrections required
• continued drive for results to find areas of risk/cash loss, propose solutions, drive through recommendations and monitor improvements
