Elavon is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual for an exciting new opportunity: Forecasting & Planning Analyst.
Reporting into the European Commercial Team, this critical role will help shape Elavon’s customer management strategies, and will likely suit candidates from Analytic, Finance or Marketing backgrounds, aspiring to grow their analytics / strategy development skill set. This new position requires business acumen, analytic mindset and effective interpersonal and project management skills.
Help shape the overall European customer managment strategy by:
- Delivering the annual target setting and portfolio allocation processes for our customer management departments across Europe
- Maintaining the monthly european new business forecasting process in collaboration with Business Development and Finance teams.
- Providing analytical support in strategic European initiatives, especially in a space of reporting performance
- Leveraging SalesForce.com and other internal data sources to analyse, understand and recommend improvements to the end-to-end sales and customer servicing processes
- Collaborating with Pricing, Finance and Business Development Teams to develop and provide relevant management information (MI) packs against major business financial initiatives
- Interrogating our MI data suite and extracting deep customer data to enable ad-hoc proposition and business case develpment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Analytics or Finance
- Proven ability to manage and synthesise complex datasets to deliver commercial insights
- Proficient Excel and basic knowledge of SQL
- Fluent English language, oral and written
- Excellent logic and analytical skills -- both quantitative and qualitative
- Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic, corporate environment
- Quick-learner and positive, confident communicator
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Additional skills:
- Strong eye for detail
- VBA, MS Access knowledge an advantage
- Experience of CRM systems (eg. Saleforce.com) an advantage
- Financial Services experience is highly preferred, Payments experience is ideal
