You will be part of a team focusing on research and development for future security solutions ranging from security IP design to strong end-to-end security solutions and vulnerability analysis. - Performing risk and threat analysis for secure software systems
- Creating innovative and disruptive security solutions
- Delivering specification, design and review of embedded software security architectures (e.g. of Java Applets, Java Card OS, Boot/Test OS , Crypto Library)
- Detailed attack modeling and security mechanisms specification for software blocks, such as Java Virtual Machine, RSA, ECC, SHA, AES, DES.
- Advising and training the team on design, implementation and test of software security mechanisms (e.g. control flow protection, randomization of operations, blinding)
- Performing root cause analysis of security defects found by the vulnerability analysis team
- Being technical interface of the product development team to the internal vulnerability analysis team and external laboratories
- Maintaining state-of-the-art knowledge regarding (implementation) security
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
- Good experience with the design and development of embedded software systems
- Working experience in Java, C and Assembler
- Good cryptographic/security background
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to listen and to adapt, good mentoring skills
- Very good communication skills and English skills
- Willingness to travel
