Our client, a leading multinational energy company and leader within its branch currently operating in Poland, is seeking to recruit a highly professional candidate for the position of Financial Controller.
- Responsible for supporting commercial activities from a financial perspective in Poland and other central European markets within the region
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
- Provide accurate and timely insight into business performance by analyzing any variance of actual results from budget and/or forecast
- Undertake cost/benefit analysis to evaluate and support the commercial teams
- Support Finance Manager in ad-hoc finance projects including financing
- Support SAP system implementation
- Initiate efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
- Provide support to Finance Manager during internal and external audits
- Higher education in Finance/ Business Administration; Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA) is a plus
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in financial controlling/analyst role
- Excellent interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Strong mix of technical financial knowledge along with commercial acumen
- Understands key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities and recommends solutions that can be effectively supported
- Experience with the use of information technology to effectively satisfy business needs; MS Office, SAP, VBA experience
- Passionately strives to achieve results; energetic and high level of dedication; ability to handle stress
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English
