Philips Finance Operations (FinOps) drives the core of the finance operations by focusing on 4 domains: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Rule Based Controlling; process harmonization and quality control. We manage and coordinate front office service delivery, ensure consistent implementation of global processes, and regional standardization across businesses by focusing on driving the right process quality metrics.
Your challenge:
You will be part of Philips Finance Operations (FinOps) organization in Purchase to Pay / Cash Transaction Team. We challenge you to ensure and review correct execution of the Accounts Payable process in accordance to the Philips Accounting Principles.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitor the execution of the entire P2P process as a first point of contact
- Coordination between business requirements from local organizations and third service supplier
- Initiate and implement continuous process improvement in financial process
- Investigates, proposes and executes the implementation of further P2P process improvements
- Manages/coordinates the local accounts payable and expenses activities
- Helpdesk for P2P related questions of third service supplier or local organizations
- Examining accounting documents for completeness and accuracy and making appropriate adjustments
- Delivers relevant information for proper execution of the process by third service supplier
- Initiates and participates in projects or actions to improve the overall performance quality of the P2P process
- Support the ORU’s controller in the process improvement
- Support local audits
We are looking for people with:
- A Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent
- Fluency in English language is required (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of Hungarian, Latwian or Romanian will be an additional asset
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in PTP area
- Ability to apply bookkeeping and accounting principles to the maintenance of Accounts Payable and Finance records
- Ability to analyze statistical data and compile necessary reports
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload, multi-task is essential
- Highly developed analytical capabilities, with a strong business and customer sense
- Effective listening and communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills
- Good team player
