Financial Controller / Chief Accountant
Location: Raszyn
Job description
- Handle day to day operations of the finance affairs of the Company
- Bookkeeping of invoices and expenses
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Organize accounting processes and procedures in line with local legislation and corporate requirements related to main company activities: online shop and trading of goods (brand new and used)
- Ensure that financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Complete and submit monthly management accounts according statutory and IFRS standards
- Conduct the annual audit of statutory financial statements
- Provide analyses requested by head office
- Draft annual budget - and revised ones if needed- and EP projections
- Manage all treasury functions (cash flow inflows and outflows, bank needs etc.)
- Manage credit function (grant credit lines, timely collection, follow up problematic cases etc.)
- Continuous work on re-scaling the company - reducing EOF, improving efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Relevant previous working experience in an accounting/finance role (4+ years)
- Experience in retail business will be considered as an advantage
- Good knowledge of local legislation and statutory requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Energetic, highly motivated with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence
- Proficient user of the English language (oral and written)
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
