This position is placed in the Group Financial Compliance Department which is part of Vestas' CFO organization. The Group Financial Compliance department proactively identifies and mitigates risks to financial reporting. The team's objectives are to have standard internal processes and controls in place globally, ensure mitigation of financial risks, be able to pass audits and to preventing fraud and safeguarding of assets.

Improve and maintain Vestas’ Group Financial Charter/Governance structure for financial processes, controls and applications within Vestas.

Ensure that Vestas internal control framework of finance processes, control governance set-up and segregation of duties are continuously satisfactory implemented.

Handle process and control evaluation, design, development, set requirements and ensure business alignment within Vestas.

Handle global implementation and effectiveness testing of controls and processes within Vestas.

Perform data analysis of large amounts of data and identify global trends, bottlenecks, workarounds, behavior etc. in order to spot process or monetary risks.

Participate in projects where financial compliance awareness is needed and at all times incorporate knowledge about risk.

Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration or related field.

At least 3-4 years’ experience in conducting external or internal audits.

Very good English skills – both oral and written.

In-depth understanding of risk and materiality in a global organization.

Experience from a Big 4 company would be an advantage.

Knowledge of IFRS standards.

Excel or SAP experience is preferable.

Willing to travel.
