For our Client, a globally recognized company from FMCG sector, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Financial Analyst.
Job description
Financial Analyst will perform Controlling and Management Reporting activities in Commercial entity. Key are of responsibility is Gross Margin. Job reports to Commercial Controller and requires close cooperation with business partners from Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Factories both for repetitive processes and on ad-hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- deliver smooth and timely Month Closure (Volume, COGS, Forex, Gross Margin);
- deliver On Time in Full Reporting (Gross Margin Variance Analysis, SKU profitability reports);
- provide KPIs and monthly commentaries to Management with explanation of significant variances to forecast and prior periods;
- support Planning and Forecasting process (scenario building, plan / forecast preparation, reporting, variances commentary);
- support Management decision making in relation to Gross Margin enhancing activities (price increases, savings projects);
- pro-actively look for Gross Margin enhancing options and present to Management;
- supervise and support selected Brands in delivering Gross Margin targets;
- support Brands and Management with ad-hoc analysis (P&L simulations, savings calculations);
- superuser of Management Reporting System;
- ensure compliance with IFRS and Company Policies (internal & external audits);
- Lead Europricing in Country Controlling Team;
- participate / lead projects (new system implementations, operating model changes);
- provide training for and increase financial acumen of business partners.
Candidate
- strong background in Commercial Controlling and Management Reporting;
- minimum 2-3 years experience in similar positions, preferable in FMCG/Healtcare sector in multinational company;
- relevant accountancy qualification finished or in progress (CIMA / ACCA);
- superb analytical and financial modelling skills;
- good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with business;
- results driven, good problem solver, self-motivated, pro-active, able to work effectively to tight deadlines;
- strong attention to details and ability to work with large amount of data;
- good command of English, German would be an additional asset;
- experience using ERP and reporting systems (JDE & IBM Cognos would be an asset);
- advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills.
