- Manage and deliver large Finance–led projects and project studies in the area of Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Procurement
- Prepare or coordinate delivery of the relevant project management documentation, including project charter, project plans, progress reports in line with the applicable Project Management Methodology
- Facilitate definition of the project business requirements
- Facilitate project quality assurance, including factory, functional and end user testing
- Drive results oriented continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with functional departments, finance and other members of the organization in assessing, tracking and reporting the financial benefit of the Continious Improvement initiative
- Support management of project budget (if applicable)
- Effectively cooperate with the Finance and IT teams
- Support or facilitate adherence to the relevant internal processes and controls, including SarbanesOxley, Quarterly Release Process and Unified Quality Process
- At least 5 years overall accounting/finance experience within a global environment – essential
- At least 3 years project management experience with focus on global projects/implementations in financial processes and systems and 3rd-party supplier involvement – essential
- In-depth working knowledge of Oracle would be an asset
- Strong project management skills with working knowledge of the principles of analytical problem solving techniques
- Strong interpersonal and change management skills
- Ability to interact with multiple layers of the organization (including senior executives and external service providers), successfully initiate change and influence all organization levels.
- Ability to work efficiently in a global environment and across different teams, in particular Finance, Functional experts and IT
- Ability to think strategically and understand the role of the specific project in the mid/long term vision for the Finance and other functions of the division and the team
