The successful candidate will manage the Finance Department in line with Qatar Airways policies and internal accounting procedures and develop personnel at station level
Job Description
- Control and implement finance decisions in areas covering revenue, receivables, payables, cash/banking, payroll
- Manage accounting activities in Poland as per company accounting standards
- Safeguard company assets at the station including verification, insurance, and custodianship
- Manage cash as per company treasury policy
- Manage credit related issues at station
- Assist management with necessary information including budgeting
- Correct monthly closing as per HO target dates
- Cost Control and proper follow up
- Provide financial advice and support to Management and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions
- Manage Finance team including training, coaching and development with performance measurement
- Understand where the business is going, and be able to use that vision to move the company/department forward
- Commercial apprenticeship, Business school graduate.
- Comprehensive knowledge of airline accounting procedures
- Good knowledge of local statutory matters
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken) in English
- Familiarity with IATA regulations in regards to Pax, Cargo, EBT sales
- Proven commercial skills and business acumen
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills
- User experience in any ERP
