- Managing the Entity Accounting and Reporting process for the Group of Clusters /sub-Region to ensure Core Service is delivered in full compliance with Corporate policies and procedures, GBS internal procedures and with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Establish the process of maintenance for detailed GBS transactional documentation (IFRS, Statutory requirements) for the markets in scope as well as the regular update to ensure Core Services are executed in line with Corporate and market local accounting requirements
- Accountable to deliver efficient and effective services to entities in scope of Group of Cluster /sub-Regions in full compliance with corporate policies and procedures, GBS internal procedures and entities specific requirements defined in Service Level Agreements for the following general accounting and reporting processes
- Managing Team Performance and Development
- University degree (Accounting or Finance).
- A professional qualification of ACCA, CPA, etc. is required.
- Knowledge of statutory accounting principles for the countries within the cluster is an advantage.
- At least 7 years experience in a multinational company including preferably 3 years of managerial experience in a Shared Service Centre multifunction role (i.e. AR/AP/CM/GL).
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory and other relevant reporting.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of SAP preferred
- Strong command of English Language (oral and written).
- Effective team leadership skills.
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
