Currently we are looking for a Finance Controller for CEE region. This person reports directly to a President of CEE and dotted line to CFO of Global Sales and Services, and oversees the complete regional Finance function. The role in its nature is both Strategic and Operational, due to the size of the organization.

Finance Controller CEE is responsible for the Finance, Accounting and Reporting activities of their assigned sub-region, leading management with financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities include control of all FP&A activities, financial transactions, accounting operations (general, cost, accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury) and audits/compliance. This role is non-managerial, but indirectly (dotted line) supervising work of 3 Controllers and 1 Accountant located in different countries in the region.
- Function as a member of the regional management team by providing counsel on financial analysis, accounting guidelines and overall business performance and strategy. Develop & present relevant financial analyses, highlighting areas of risk and/or opportunity, providing recommendations.
- Support executive leadership in developing and implementing business strategies that will meet both the short and long-term needs of the business.
- Drive the annual budget and forecasting cycles with a strong focus on improving forecast accuracy and process improvement.
- Support the annual strategic planning & budget process with input and financial sensitivity models.
- Coordinate and support budget preparation, structure and reporting process.
- Assist sub-region sales management with analysis of potential sales deals, with emphasis on integrated margin performance.
- Manage the books for assigned legal entities.
- Lead or assist with special projects as required by senior management.
- Works flexible hours to meet business/customer needs.
- Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
- At minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- A minimum of 6-7 years of professional experience in a financial role (Financial Controller or Senior Analyst, Regional Analyst), ideally in Healthcare / Pharma / FMCG industry in multinational environment.
- Very good English, both written and spoken (B2,C1)
- Ability to plan, set objectives, measure performance at all levels of local organization.
- Strong presentation skills accompanied with interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and other database concepts. Solid experience with ERP system functions and financial systems; SAP/M3 and Cognos reporting a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude; “can do” attitude.
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
