FACTORY MANAGER

The Factory Manager based in Laszczow, Poland, situated close to the Ukraine border, will report to the Group Directors based in the UK. The Factory Manager will have the responsibility of ensuring a guaranteed source of supply through farmer to factory partnerships. You will manage the production of the product from growth through to delivery, including finance, purchasing, production/packaging, negotiations between suppliers and customers, some element of sales and all recruitment on site. The Factory Manager will be responsible on a daily basis for 90 full time staff and 50 seasonal workers.
As Factory Manager you will drive improvement in performance ensuring profitability targets are met. Due to the exacting requirements of your customers you should have the ability to control the supply chain function effectively driving stocking policy and manufacturing schedules in line with end user requirements.

- You will ideally manage or have managed a frozen food facility or been involved in a food environment
- You must be fluent in Polish and English, both verbally and written and possess a strong commercial acumen
- You must be prepared to move to or be resident in Poland for the start of September 2011
- You should be an individual capable of creating and empowering high performance teams
