Barry Callebaut Vending & Beverages is a business unit dedicated to beverages with focus on all types of cocoa based beverages. The main market is Europe, on which Barry Callebaut Vending & Beverages is the market leader. The largest sales channels are Vending and HoReCa.
Besides chocolate beverages, also cappuccinos, toppings, whiteners and teas for vending applications are developed and produced at the specialized factory in Kågeröd, Sweden. In Kågeröd also the business unit’s Marketing, R&D and sales organization is located.
Barry Callebaut Vending & Beverages well-known brands are Van Houten, Caprimo, Bensdorp, Le Royal and Ögonblink. In addition, the business unit also sells a large part under private label.
The opportunity
Eastern Europe represents an area with significant growth opportunities and is therefore a highly prioritized focus for Barry Callebaut Vending & Beverages. In order to further develop and grow this exiting and dynamic market, we want to recruit a highly qualified, energetic and ambitious:
As our Export Sales Manager, your tasks will be:
- Select the appropriate product range for the Eastern Europe and Russian beverage markets
- Develop distribution channels
- Obtain listings for the brands in different market sectors
- Constantly observe the market environment
- Recognize changing in market trends
- Achieve sales volumes and profitability in line with budgets
- Develop new customers
- Develop business with existing customers
- Plan and participate in trade events, national and regional fairs
- Closely cooperate with our office in Sweden and local offices
- Working areas: Eastern Europe, Russia and other countries where we do not have a local setup
You will report to the area manager who is based in Germany.
Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience with export sales, ideally in the food and/or beverage sectors
- You are fluent in English and Russian. You have a good IT knowledge (Excel & PowerPoint) and you are used to make your own presentations
- You are an open minded, dynamic, customer focused and easy-to-deal-with team player and you have very good negotiation skills
- You are motivated, success oriented, tenacious and enjoy challenges
- You live in Poland and your native language is Polish
- You are open to travel between 100-120 days per year
