- Train a team of young, highly motivated operators in our state-of-the-art biotech facilities in beautiful Gdańsk (Danzig) on the shores of the Baltic sea.
- Work with the team in the facility on facility/equipment qualification, process transfers, process performance, process validation, deviations/investigations, change control, documentation etc.
- Spend at least 3-4 day a week in Gdańsk for at least a few months to have a sustainable effect on the proficiency of the team.
- The thrill of working on starting up all-new, highly sophisticated manufacturing line with a highly motivated team and a highly supportive international leadership team.
- Interest in employment or a freelance contract, depending on your preferences and situation. Employment can be arranged via Poland or Austria.
- Experience as a seasoned frontline biopharmaceutical manufacturing professional who spent much of his/her professional life running biologics facilities “with your own hands”.
- Readiness for a new adventure, or find it attractive to retire from your current job and hand on your experience to a team of highly motivated young professionals.
- 10+ years of experience as an operator / shift leader / manufacturing team supervisor in a biopharmaceutical factory.
- Training in chemical or biotechnological process engineering via apprenticeship (ideally with “master”/”Meister” qualification), vocational/technical secondary school or applied university training.
- Experience in/with continuous improvement concepts; ideally green belt certified
- Ideally, experience with microbial (E. coli, yeast) fermentation and primary recovery (centrifugation, homogenization).
- Experience in facility qualification, esp. OQ and PQ.
- Experience in tech transfers and process validation.
