The European Pricing and Promotions Analyst supports the regional eCommerce Customer Team to ensure strong insights and governance in relation to trade terms, promotional (TP) and pricing investments in key European eCommerce Customers.
Through rigorous, timely analysis and reporting this role ensures that commercial decisions taken in these customers maximizes growth and profit as well as protecting the financial freedom in local markets through aligning investments and activity to agreed frameworks and guidelines.
The role holder will need to collaborate across markets and functions (in particular Sales and S&F) to develop robust governance and reporting processes/tools and the development of a clear ‘playbook’ of promotional/price learnings and frameworks. In particular, close collaboration with European S&F and local S&F teams will be required.
The jobholder report to European eCommerce Customer Director.
- Flexible location at any MPE eCommerce site
- Develop and implement clear reporting and governance for pricing, terms, and promotional investments for key European eCommerce Customers
- Contribute data and insights to any Net3/Net4 pricing corridor framework settings (led by S&F)
- Build ‘knowledge database’ of investment and promotional learnings and co-pilot Customer Team to deliver most effective and efficient promotional and pricing plans
- Conduct regular analysis of data (from multiple sources) to support optimization of customer investments and development of promotional strategies
- Partner with European Customer team, S&F and Global eCommerce team to develop Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) capabilities and playbooks.
- Excellent project management and time management skills, experience with reporting tools, strong analytical skills and results orientated
- Knowledge of systems and processes used in Data Management
- Strong understanding of financial and core business metrics and how these can be influenced by pricing and promotion strategies
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication skills, in order to translate these insights to the relevant internal stakeholders at all levels
