- For this role we believe you have minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, minimum 1 year of experience in Diversity, Equality & Inclusion or similar topics and experience from at organisation and/or participating in projects.
In the role as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Leader, you are responsible for establishing IKEA as a diverse and inclusive organisation, where everyone feels welcomed, respected, supported and valued. You need to adapt the global Diversity & Inclusion plan to address local needs and implement it in the organisation and support the Diversity & Inclusion ambassadors in your organisation.
- Influence the consideration and the integration of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion into the business
- Work as the country contact for all aspects related to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, including supporting the Diversity & Inclusion Network
- Co-create with the Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Centre of Expertise, to establish a solid Equality, Diversity & Inclusion approach
- Proactively collect and share country Equality, Diversity & Inclusion needs with the Centre of Expertise
- Implement Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion agenda in the local organisation and contributes in other projects related to Equality in the country
- Adapt supporting materials to local needs, including the Diversity and Inclusion Approach Toolkit and support specific dimensions of diversity in the country
- Network with stakeholders across the country organisation to proactively support integration of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all functions
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge about market trends, latest developments and best practises in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the country
- Collaborate with external organisations focused on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the country
- Serve as a role model and an ambassador to the IKEA Diversity and Inclusion purpose, impacting our customers, co-workers and society
- Secure Equality, Diversity & Inclusion is a part of leadership and competence development and approaches to build competence across the organisation
