Reporting to the Development Manager, the Development Team Lead Developer is responsible for the execution of building, enhancing and maintaining products and/or systems to enable Sage’s business plans and long term objectives using the identified architecture.
The Development Team Leader will be responsible for leading and supporting the development team through the various stages of the software development life-cycle.
If you are familiar with:
- open source software projects
- real world application development lead
- excellent self-organisation which will include estimating, planning and risk assessment.
- gathering user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code
- high numerical reasoning, logic ability and problem solving skills
- several relevant programming languages, frameworks and databases
- team playing attitude by acting as an ambassador for product delivery
- adapt to significant changes in either technology or environment
