Energy and emissions trading has been one of the fastest growing financial disciplines. In Europe, liberalization of electricity markets together with European Emissions Trading Scheme, a pan European initiative by which the EU has become a global leader in managing its obligations resulting from the adoption of the Kyoto protocol in 1997, offers numerous opportunities for financial intermediaries.
Energy trading has recently become heavily linked to EU ETS. In practice it means that we, as a financial intermediary, help our clients manage their power and emissions risk by trading their positions. As we are expanding our business internationally, we are looking for a Polish speaking professional for our Power and Carbon Trading desk in our newly opened office in Warsaw.

Wymagania
We are looking for a risk taker with quantitative aptitude who welcomes a dynamic international team with a flat organization and an interest in energy sector. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences, but require following qualifications:
- native Polish speaker with fluent English (Czech or Slovak proficiency is a plus);
- ambitious, target-focused, hardworking, people-oriented, well-rounded problem-solver;
- pro-active, able to work independently with strong motivation to learn;
- 2-5 years of professional experience; financial, energy or utilities sectors experience is highly welcomed;
- college or graduate education
