Join our Engineering team as an Electrical Reliability Engineer
- Analyzing engineering-design concepts for new and existing high power frequency converters or related products in order to recommend design or test methods for achieving specified product operational reliability requirements
- Performance of analysis in cooperation with Research/Development-, Service and Manufacturing Engineering to determine/predict critical component and/or sub-assembly performance to ensure excellent reliability and extended operating life with reduced risk, cost and complexity of design
- Analyzing failure data and proposing design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
- Working across disciplines and with cross-functional teams to understand customer usage and site factors impacting reliability autonomously.
- Supporting and executing Factory Acceptance Tests with attendance of customers and control agencies
- Supporting certification or regulatory compliance process for designed control systems (e.g. DNV, GL)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Reliability, Quality or related field
- More than 3 years of proven experience in industry
- Good knowledge of applicable industry standards such as LVD, EMC and CE
- Knowledge of standard quality and reliability tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), Root Cause Analysis, DOE and Statistics
- Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques by use of equivalent tool boxes and ability to interpret and present technical information
- Capable of functioning effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to communicate effectively written and verbal in English and manage relationships at all levels of the organization as well as cross-functionally to achieve reliability goals
- Readiness to work overtime, international travel and perform other duties when required
- Ability to effectively operate in the international project team environment and communicate with customers
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results across organizational boundaries
