With more then 500.000 registered stem cell donors Fundacja DKMS Baza Dawców Komórek Macierzystych Polska (Organizacja Pozytku Publicznego) is the largest bone marrow donor center in Poland.Founded in 2008 it is a member of the DKMS group which leads the fight against blood cancer with more than 4 million registered donors worldwide. Every day fourteen patients receive stem cells and thus a second chance at life from a matching DKMS donor.

Donor Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Warszawa
Job description

Planning, organizing, managing and executing donor recruitment drives and fundraising drives across Poland

Work closely with patients, family and friends throughout the donor recruitment drive planning process by providing training, guidance and motivation

Actively contacting local media to achieve media coverage and prepare press releases in line of DKMS communication

Represent the DKMS Polska mission at all times, including at designated donor recruitment drives and events

Perform all post-drive follow up including, reporting the outcome of all donor recruitment events and financial contributions in the database system, review completed registration forms, and ensuring the return of all materials

Possibly in future: team leading and supporting head of department
Requirements

Minimum of 5 years work experience in coordinating events

Higher degree studies
-
Good to have: team leading experience

Ability to manage and motivate groups of people from different backgrounds and situation

Must be able to lead with compassion, have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and be able to work in a team environment

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills
-
Must be comfortable in a public forum and interacting with the public and in a corporate setting; public speaking is required

Mature and professional attitude dedicated to fulfilling our mission of saving lives
-
Ability to travel up to 40%, including weekends based upon business needs

Fluent English Language skills (spoken and written), knowledge of German would be an advantage

Driving License ( in use)
