We are looking for
The Role holder mainly operates on his own within a bid as a Subject Matter Expert for a single technology or service; or he may lead few other SMEs covering other technology or service areas within the domain. They are a competent design authority on medium or small-scale solutions, demonstrating an understanding of customers’ business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver medium to small-scale architectures and specific solutions (including solution related documentation), working closely with lead Solution Architect(s) or Solution Architects and corresponding Tower Leads.
A Domain Architect is responsible for the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. Changes to service, process, organization, operating model and other aspects may be required in addition to technology components, and solutions must demonstrate how agreed requirements are met, any requirements which are not fully met or, and any options or considerations which require a business decision. The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution component remain compatible.
- Technical input to qualification and business approval meetings to make a recognized technical contribution
- Designs small or medium scale solutions (or parts of larger solutions) which need minimal review following peer review
- Defines the approach to small/medium scale solution development and acceptance testing, ensuring an acceptable cost structure
- Represents Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to build Fujitsu’s reputation in the marketplace
- Uses influential relationships with customers’ management, and Fujitsu sales and project management staff, to contribute to winning the business
- Designs innovative, medium scale solutions incorporating components from contributing specialists
- Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base
- May manage a team of subject matter experts during design creation period
- Contributes to the requirements (RCTM) registry and Volumetric (KSVI)
- Owns part of RAID log related to the corresponding areas of expertise
- Contributes to all bid deliverables within his domain/areas of expertise
- Provides architecture authority for cost models development
- Maps customer needs to Fujitsu portfolio within his domain/areas of expertise in the most effective way
- Participate in bid assurance, bid reviews and defend the solution. Ensure all solution elements fully comply with the company's governance and approval process
- Take an active role, supporting/leading where necessary, in contract negotiations to ensure that the contract correctly represents the solution and offer
- Ensure the transfer of knowledge, documents and learnings from pursuits are communicated back to the broader pre-sales team to support pre-sale development and re-use
- Take an active role in the coaching, mentoring and development of the broader architecture community
- Such Architect should have well-established IT knowledge, should be able to identify technologies, match them with project needs
- Knowledge of tools and frameworks used in Software and Application Development
- Experienced in Agile Methodology
- Experienced in Application Services (NOT ALL BUT MAIN ONES)
