Director Human Resources Central and Eastern Europe
Location: Łódź
Job description
- Manage, develop and grow the Polish HR organization
- Support the Country Management Team with their key HR challenges and hold the responsibility for all employees in Poland
- Provide support to the plant in implementing and delivering on the people strategy.
- Take responsibility and support standardized projects and initiatives in close alignment with HR Europe
- Act as a single point of contact for the Country Management Team, leveraging the HR colleagues and take ownership for the employees in Poland
- Work closely with the business to understand and address business issues in the country
- Act as an advocate for standardization in the execution of HR policies focusing on operational excellence
- Drive Payroll and Administration activities and the key HRM processes such as recruitment & staffing, talent-detection and development, performance management, remuneration, safeguarding the core competencies of the organization
- Drive employee requests and queries to ensure seamless HR administrative services for employees and managers
- Manage operationally the key HR processes in the business and work closely with the HR Regional team to determine local needs and address local specifics
- Coordinate and take ownership for specific initiatives (e.g. organizational transformation and change) in the country
- Lead the talent review & succession planning process in your country
Requirements
- University degree
- More than 7 years of experience within HR (also in Admin & Payroll area), gained in an industrial environment, preferably from the automotive sector
- Experience with cooperation as HRM with foreign teams (CEE region) is a strong asset
- Successful track record gained in an international dynamically growing organization with well-developed HR tools and processes
- Ability to co-create and implement local HR procedures and practices paired with strong forward thinking and acting
- Profound experience with working on international and multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to co-drive culture, engagement and employee development
- Experience with the implementation of HR tools/HRIS such as e.g. SAP and Workday is a strong asset
- Goal oriented, self-reliant and highly motivated individual, with the ability to motivate others
- Excellent team player with people management skills
- Good presentation and communication skills, both upwards & downwards, with an ability to work within the structures of a global organization
- Personal qualities of integrity, honesty and a passion for excellence, maintaining a pragmatic approach consistently delivering outstanding results
- Fluency in English is required
- Flexibility to travel (10%) and participate in calls, work Overtime
