Director - Global Corporate Supplier Quality

Guarantees during the whole product life time that the plants, programs and other operational locations are permanently supplied with products according to the quality agreements/requirements signed with the external qualified suppliers.

Ensure that the quality level of the supplier panel is permanently optimized and aligned to the quality procurement strategy.

• Member of the team that defines and monitors Dovista quality strategy
• Set KPIs and roadmap to secure that Dovista quality vision is fully implemented in the organization and the supplier base
• Deploys and execute supplier quality strategy aligned with category strategies and Dovista quality vision
• Define, monitor, improve every supplier’s global quality performance and ensure that the local supplier quality brings the right contribution
• Secure full compliance of quality requirements from the Dovista supplier base from start of product development to discontinuation of product
• Ensure that any supplied developed part is ruled by a defined structured approval process
• Make sure that the contractual quality documents are understood, signed off and demonstrated by every supplier for every part
• Ensure that plants always receive parts strictly according to requirements (even in the case of process or product changes and other variations)
• Organize the audits, assessments and development of supplier base according to Dovista quality principles
• For any decision regarding selection / development / qualification of suppliers, work closely with category managers to make his/her best recommendation. Disagreements, if any, are escalated in procurement organization for arbitration
• Provide guidance and escalation support to local quality organizations
• Dovista’ s ultimate interface regarding quality matters with the suppliers
• Ensure the deployment of quality management system in compliance to the targeted standards and group quality expectations
• Develop, deploy and maintain supplier quality processes and procedures
• Creates and implements Dovista supplier quality manual and other needed documentation
• Design, implement and optimize the supplier quality organization able to interface smoothly with other networks and other reporting lines.
• Ensure that the right quality resources (headcount, skills, methods, equipments) are allocated to the supplier management in every product phase
• Recruit, coach and develop SQMs

• At least 10 years quality/supplier quality/supplier quality management leadership experience from the automotive industry
• Experience of creating a supplier quality vision, strategy and roadmap from a white paper
• Experience and track record in initiation and successful implementation of quality improvement programmes
• Experience in SRM/ Supplier development programs
• Proven track records of experience of Lean and Six Sigma methodology and tools
• Advanced quality toolbox and proven track record of practical application
• Experience in several types of industry and job positions.
• Experience working in a large international matrix organization
