We are looking for candidates for the position of:
Purpose:
As Digital eMerchandising Specialist you will play a key role in maintaining & providing best in class content experience for our digital partners and associates alike (from brief to live) as well as helping to maximize the exposure and performance of the Mars online Petcare portfolio by defining, executing and measuring the online merchandising strategy, from traffic, search, content, placement to monitoring and reporting as well driving promotional actions at e-retailers sites. You will be reporting to eCommerce Channel Head.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high quality E-commerce website content for improved search results for Mars PetCare brands:
- Responsible for the continual upkeep of the Digital Asset Management tool and its interaction with the Digital Asset Platform
- Manage the creation, targeting, distribution and analysis of content across multiple platforms
- Ensure content sourcing and creation for those platforms form both the local and global teams (retailer/branded/social/search)
- Ensure consistency & high-value experience for consumers, which emphasize content, retailer’s information needs and business goals
- Monitor delivery of “perfect webstore execution” (availability of SKUs, quality of product pages, quality of execution of the promo activations, etc.), identify gaps and takes actions to address them
- Execute the digital shelf principles and share/implement best practices across Mars Petcare
- Execute Digital Merchandising strategy on retailers websites especially:
- Collaborate with the relevant internal (Mars Polska) and customer stakeholders to execute the customer promo plan defined by Key Account Manager
- Coordinate the execution of the Digital Merchandising strategy on retailers websites and coordinate search principles and tools, including design and execution of cross-sell / upsell activities
- Ensure digital execution is in line with brand/retailer/content calendars
- Collaborate with Analyst and/or external agencies to track performance of activities and recommend adjustments/changes to Head of E-business and Digital Marketing Manager.
We are looking for someone with a passion for the digital channel, a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a true self starter. Ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate capacity to analyse and interpret data, a natural curiosity and strong problem solving skills.
- Proven analytics experience, ideally within the digital space
- Working knowledge of traditional category management & the tools/resources used to execute category vision within retailers (i.e. Neilsen, Dunnhumby)
- Committed to self-development and can demonstrate a willingness to operate outside of his/her comfort zone with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Well organized with time management, presentation and problem solving skills
- Team player with ability to work and collaborate effectively with cross functional team
- Higher education – ideally in a business related discipline
- Strong command in verbal and written English
- Driving licence
